Plumbing and Fire Protection Designer/Engineer

Griffith and Vary Inc. is looking  for an experienced Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer, Project Manager, or Engineer for a growing consulting engineering MEP/FP South Coast firm. Candidate must have experience preparing engineering and design documentation for plumbing & fire protection systems consisting of Sprinkler and fire pump design, sanitary systems, lab and other special waste systems, natural gas, large kitchen systems,  medical gas systems,  storm and grey water reclaim systems and systems integrating LEED and energy efficient design, with  Autocad, and Revit.

Project types include Corporate offices, Multi –unit housing , Educational K-12, and Health care facilities.

Qualifications/Skills Include

• Fluency with Revit/BIM-360 and AutoCAD is expected

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

• Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment
